Tucked in a cozy corner of the city, Cafe Paradise is more than just a coffee stop — it’s a flavorful journey through comforting bites and refreshing sips. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer variety on their menu, with each item feeling like a thoughtful blend of homestyle charm and cafe sophistication.
I kicked things off with their appetizers — golden French Fries and Tater Tots that were perfectly crisp, and the Fried Shrimp? Light, crunchy, and addictive. The Chicken Wings had a sweet heat that left me wanting more, and the gooey Mozzarella Sticks pulled apart with that dreamy cheese stretch every food lover craves.
For sandwiches, the Banh Mi Dac Biet stood out as a Vietnamese delight — crispy baguette, savory meats, and pickled veggies dancing in harmony. The Croissant Ham and Cheese was buttery and satisfying, while the Turkey and Avocado Sandwich delivered creamy freshness in every bite.
Their entrees brought serious comfort: the Xiu Mai House Special was a hearty, flavorful surprise, and the Op La (Vietnamese-style sunny eggs) came with a side of nostalgia. I couldn’t get enough of the Com Bo Luc Lac — tender shaking beef over rice — and the Com Thit Kho Trung hit home with its rich, braised pork and egg.
Drink-wise, the Vietnamese coffee trio (Black, Regular, Extra Sweet) each had their moment, but the Coconut and Pennyworth Juices were especially refreshing. The smoothies were thick and indulgent — I highly recommend the Mango or Avocado versions.
For a sweet finish, the Affogato and Root Beer Float added a creamy twist, while the Grass Jelly and Mix Avocado drinks gave a unique, textural treat.
Cafe Paradise’s menu is a hidden gem — bold, varied, and unmistakably comforting.
